* Reduce the amount of information you take down to begin with
* For an effective type of day-to-day management you need Day memos and Week memos. Put them into a unique category.
* File important information in one category but give the memos meaningful titles and/or searchable keywords
* Archive your memos regularly
* Don’t file memos that are only temporarily needed into a permanent category. The best thing: Keep them “unfiled".
