In addition to its comprehensive ratings guides, ZAGAT TO GO now offers many new features including wireless content updates, detailed street-level maps, and turn-by-turn driving directions to the user’s desired destination(1).
ZAGAT TO GO guides can now be installed via desktop installations for traditional PDAs, or accessed and updated over-the-air from wireless devices, a new feature frequent travelers should find invaluable. The subscription-based service, available at a special online download price of $24.95 per year, offers access to more than 60 guides of trusted Zagat Survey content. Zagat guides include the latest reviews, ratings, pricing and other essential information for thousands of restaurants, nightspots, stores, golf courses and more. Information is presented in the classic Zagat Survey format that is familiar to millions of devotees around the world.

ZAGAT TO GO delivers a comprehensive collection of more than 60 newly updated, survey-based guides for U.S. cities and locales as well as other top destinations around the world. Restaurant information—the most well-known Zagat service—is presented by neighborhood, cuisine, and special features, with ratings furnished for food quality, decor, service and cost. All restaurant data is searchable according to the user’s needs, making it easy to find the perfect restaurant for any occasion or interest.
In addition to its restaurant guides, ZAGAT TO GO also offers ratings and reviews for nightlife in 20 cities including Las Vegas, London, Los Angeles, New Orleans, New York City, San Francisco and more; the best U.S. golf courses; shopping in New York City; and the top movies of all time.
ZAGAT TO GO subscribers can install as many guides as they wish and can access content updates at no additional cost. Every establishment can be stored under “My Favorites” as well as in the user’s address book for easy access; personal notes about each establishment can also be added.
Full Color Maps
Two of the most useful additions in the new version of ZAGAT TO GO are the Map and Directions features. After choosing a restaurant or other establishment, simply click on “Map” to see the destination plotted on a detailed street map; by clicking on “Directions To” and entering your present address, turn-by-turn directions are displayed. Users can toggle between the map and directions to ensure you reach the destination as quickly and easily as possible.
Availability
ZAGAT TO GO 4.0 for Palm OS and Windows Mobile Pocket PC is now available and can be installed from either Windows or Macintosh computers. A retail package with CD-ROM and a one-year subscription will be available for $29.95 in time for holiday gift giving.
