2005 Fall U.S. Powered Up Awards
The Palm OS developer community is one of the key reasons Palm OS is a leading operating system for mobile information devices. In recognition of those who create exceptional Palm OS applications, PalmSource is pleased to announce the Fall 2005 Powered Up Awards. These prestigious awards offer a prize package to winning developers, not to mention accolades from peers and the Palm Powered user community.
The awards will be given in five categories, and for the first time, the Powered Up Awards feature a Best-In-Class grand prize. The winner of the Best-In-Class award will receive $10,000.00, a Palm device of their choice, and a co-marketing package valued at approximately $20,000.00.
The open nominations period ends December 11, 2005. Five (5) Category winners and one (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected based on the following:
- Innovation — Solutions that are truly unique and run on the latest Palm Powered devices.
- Popularity — Solutions that lead the industry in sales or downloads.
- Benefits — Solutions that enhance quality of life.
- Ease of Use — Solutions that deliver power through simple and elegant software design.
- Support — Solutions that are regularly updated with readily available product support.
