From Peter Arts today. I am a Treo owner. I have had some documented QA issues with both my Treo 600 and Treo 650. I am not suing Palm because of this, and want to know where the 3 idiots suing Palm in California get the brass to bring a class-action suit. Class-action means that they are bringing suit on behalf of all Treo owners. Who the hell gave them the right to claim Speakership for myself and all of the faithful Treonauts around the globe? When I've had issues, I brought them directly to Palm, and have gotten the attention of some of Palm's top exec's. I guess these losers couldn't call Palm, because of their Treo's problems, eh?
Now, on what possible basis do these wretches believe they are entitled to financial relief from Palm? Let's think of some possible scenarios:
"Blimey! My Treo wasn't loud enough when I was talking to my bookie...and I bet on Villarreal instead of Manchester United. Gawd d_mn Palm...it's all their fault!!!"
"My Treo's speakerphone wasn't clear enough for people to hear my buddy pass gas over the phone. Palm made me look like a fool."
"My date left me, because of the static she got while using my Treo to talk to her girlfriends. Palm owes me for emotional distress!"
I have left a message for Ed Colligan, asking him for an email address or contact at Palm Legal Department. It is my intention to ask every Palm and/or Treo-centric blog to post this information, so that honest Treo owners can provide their names to Palm as being opposed to this travesty.
There is no doubt that the Treo line (especially the Treo 600) suffered from a lot of QA problems. On the other hand, every buyer had the option to exchange or return an unsatisfactory device to their personal wireless carrier. I don't know who should be smacked first:
* The 3 bottom-feeders who are perpetrating this scam
* The shyster lawyers who are facilitating this scam
* The moronic judge who is allowing this scam to come to court. Of course, what else would you expect from a California judge? They are the same geniuses who say the Pledge of Allegiance is illegal, because a few atheists don't like it.
TO WAR! It is high time for honest men and women to state for the record: "...down with the scoundrels!
