Software update: UnDupe 2.1
UnDupe moves forward again! We have now released version 2.1, which for the first time features direct access to the "new" Palm databases (Contacts, Calendar, Memos, and Tasks) instead of accessing only the "old" Palm databases (Address Book, Date Book, Memo Pad, and To Do List). Because of the way the Palm operating system was written, data in the "new" databases can be accessed via the "old" ones, but the access is slower, and in addition, some of the features which have been added to the new databases (for example, a "Location" field in the Calendar) couldn't be accessed by UnDupe. By adding direct access to the new databases on handheld models which include those databases, UnDupe not only works faster but also better. This version continues to work on all older PalmOS models as well; it is able to tell which databases are in use and "do the right thing" depending on the situation.
