palmOne - Support - LifeDrive Update What is the LifeDrive Update 1.0? The LifeDrive Update 1.0 is a small patch that fixes intermittent connectivity issues with these Wi-Fi routers: * Linksys WRT54G Wireless-G Broadband Router * Belkin High-Speed Mode Wireless G Router Should I update? If you use your LifeDrive device with the Linksys WRT54G or Belkin High-Speed router, you should install this update. Additionally, if you plan to make a Wi-Fi connection to a public network (airports, coffee shops, campuses, etc.), be aware that the network may use one of these routers, and you should install the update. Do I already have the update? Your LifeDrive mobile manager may already include the updater. Click here to find out if you need to add the updater to your device. Is this a ROM update? No. It is a software patch. Your personal data and applications will remain intact during the update. Your device will reset itself after you transfer the update to your device, but this is a soft reset that does not delete data.
