Enpocket, a global mobile media company, has announced that it is bringing greeting cards to mobile consumers with a new range of applications. Enpocket’s agreement to create, distribute and market mobile applications uses Hallmark Cards as a resource and will empower users to easily communicate in more warm, vibrant and colourful ways.

The mobile applications, available in Java and Symbian applications, make it easy to interact and share images using underlying technologies that users are not yet fully familiar with, such as MMS. For important seasonal occasions or personalised messages mobile subscribers can click and select branded images and text, before sending them to the mobile phones of friends, colleagues and family.

The Symbian version is the first mobile greetings application that integrates with the personal address book within mobile devices, facilitating one click addressing and therefore easier communication with subscribers’ significant others.

Enpocket has delivered an inclusive strategy that enables users to send greetings to friends even if they do not have MMS enabled or a Java / Symbian handset. Any basic WAP enabled phone can receive the personal greetings.

“Enpocket continues to work with brands to create, distribute, market and manage the next generation of community and content services. The mobile greeting cards will serve as a viral promotional tool to increase the visibility of Hallmark’s mobile offerings and to reinforce the strength of this global brand,” said Peter Larsen, CEO, Enpocket.

Enpocket provides applications and services to more than 50 mobile operators and 400 brands in the US, Europe and Asia, delivering mobile services that engage millions of consumers across its worldwide distribution network. Enpocket has also succeeded in mobilizing brands such as Match.com, Discovery Channel and Time Out across multiple networks and territories.
